GOVERNMENT EMPLOYEES OR GOVERNING EMPLOYEES

Today I went to a government office(No need to mention the name of the office).The issue is that i have intimated the change of address for my billing but still i don't receive my bills properly. So i decided to catch them by the throat. I reached the office by 11 in the morning. It was a 3 storey building.I was directed to reach the second floor. All I saw was empty chairs. "What the hell is that?" This was my first thought. Then i saw a person towards one corner. He saw the complaint and asked me to go to the next street where they have their accounts department. did i go there because i have no other work. I saw few ladies sitting in the same side of the office. I thought that there are atleast few responsible people. But what i saw was that they were all chatting. They didn't even have the courtesy to switch on their system.

With frustration i left the building and reached the next office. Here atleast ther was considerable workers. I received my duplicate bill form the old office and found that the address was correct but still i didn't receive my bill home delivered. My dad was very patiently waiting for some reply from the officer. The officer glanced at me and then directed us to AO(Administrative Officer). When we told them abt our comlaint. He said that the address is correct. The tone was like this "We have our updated databas e and if u r not getting the bill it is not my problem.". When he said like that i thought to myself,"U idiot i have eyes and i have been saying that only. even if my correct address is there i m not receiving mybills whereas i get all other bills." He was lucky that i didn't lose my patience. My father was explaining it clearly and slowly. After sumtime he did sumthing with his system and gave us a number saying that if we don't the bill next month within the first 15 days then we have to file a complaint to that number.

I don't know for what they are paid .They all behave like they are the governing people. When i was cuming out I saw an employee entering the office.The time was 11:30 and she was moving slowly as if she was having some red carpet welcome and people are dying to meet her. I think governor rule has to brought for five years.Then i guess everything could be brought into a streamlined operation.

SI(CHI)NGARA CHENNAI

This morning I took a ride in my bike.I was just riding for 6 kms but guess wat??/ I reached my destination after 45 minutes. Since i have to cross around 6 signals i started a bit early.The first spot where i was caught was the big vadapalani signal. usually it will take at the most only 10 minutes to cross the signal even if u r in a dense traffic. Today i was caught for more than 20 minutes. I was wondering what the matter when the side which is perpendicular to me had a moving traffic. Then I saw a bunch of cars passing.Guess it was some minister (hell with the minister). Before becuming a minister i guess he was also a normal person. Why can't he wait in the signal learn all the problems that a normal person faces in this chennai traffic.

The main issue was that the signal was not working and the traffic police was controlling the traffic.To my horror I crossed all 6 signals and none were working. Why to have a signal which doesn't work at all. Pull them all. At least we can have sum space in the road. While returning i decided to take an alternative road. Here the signals were working (only half). The red light works. If u want to know u have got a green then u have to watch the red light go off. R u a stupid to see that the green light works. Only reds are functional. If no red then it is a green. Then why do wee need to have yellow and green. I think our corporation need to change the design of our traffic lights. Yes it is enough if we have only red light since people have got used to it. Then I noticed that there are also timer in the traffic lights. Are u insane? Green lights itself doesn't work then how come timer works...cha waste of electricity. I think our corporation has misunderstood the concept of saving electricity.

So I don't want anyone to call SINGARA CHENNAI.. it is CHINGARA CHENNAI. Lucky that the drivers are very talented that we have got some reduced accidents in the city limits. With these kind of signals it is possible to have any number of accidents per day. Hope our corporation takes some action. In this case our city is called METROPOLITAN CITY. If u had seen the wait that everyone had today for a minister to pass by... then u wud say METROPOLIT(ICI)AN CITY.

US Open 2008

This a late post i guess.When i started with this post almost the first part of the first round has started. When i checked with the draws i was quiet amazed. This time Roger has got an easy slot and so i hopefully waiting for him to play in the final. I guess it is tough for Novak Djokovic to progress upto finals. Where as for Rafael it is not that too tough..and also being in a good form i don't think it will be proper to reach final without any doubt. In men it is very obvious that the top seeds will face each other right from QF.

On the other side women's slot was very interesting. It is very easy for Ana Ivanovic to make into final whereas it is tough for Jelena Jankovic to make. The other think that amazed me was that the william sisters are in the same slot. So only one of them will make to the finals. Whoever watched the Wimbledon 2008 will definitely find interesting if the William sisters face each other in QF. Since Sharapova is out due to shoulder injury i think the court is out of some action.

I hope that Roger starts his winning spree again. At least i want him to put an end to the winning streak Rafael. If Roger does not make this Grand Slam then i think it is very difficult for him to regain his form as well as position. LETS HOPE FOR SOME INTERESTING RALLIES THIS TIME

YET ANOTHER RISE AND FALL

When Olympics started I was hoping that Roger starts again his wining streak but it was a heavy blow when Blake defeated him. I think Roger is stressed out more now than ever. Now he has no other go than to try and defend the US Open. If not he has to accept he is getting old and retire before being throw out by the new players.

When it was a heavy blow in the singles side it was a thriller in doubles side. Roger and Wawarinka won the doubles gold. I was happy that at least Roger was able to open his account in the doubles section. The other side of the doubles is that the William sisters are unstoppable. They are the most toughest pair in the women's side.


On the other side, the winning saga continues for Rafael. He is unstoppable and irresistible now. He is the no.1 (recently). No one is there to put an end to his wining streak. He bagged his gold this time and glued his top spot. He has his own throne now in Tennis and I think He is the talented youngster capable of creating records like Phelps.

In the Women Singles championship, it was Elena Dementieva who easily bagged her medal. She beat Dinara Safina, who was the runner-up in French Open 2008. In women's side it was an unexpected result since the top players all were out of the game earlier or didn't even participate due to injury.

JAIHIND!!!!!

Yesterday I got a msg from my friend's brother and something pricked in my heart. Yes it was related to Independence Day. We all start wishing each other for other occasions 10 days earlier.But what abt our own hard won Independence Day? Did everyone forget that we were once ruled by some other countries. But I guess everybody will tend to send the wishes on August 14th since the messages are cost on August 15th. I think it is too bad to give something less importance. Anyways I sent the wishes to all my friends immediately to all my friends. Guess I too was behind some where in the dark and now realized it. JAI HIND!!!!!!!!!! LONG LIVE INDIA!!!!

SPLENDID OPENING CEREMONY!!!!!

My previous post was before the opening ceremony of Olympics got over. The opening ceremony was splendid and none of the opening ceremony has been so appropriate and grandeur in the history of Olympics. I was dumbstruck when I saw a huge screen was raised 360 degrees around the stadium where there was a display of the torch relay across the world was presented. Over that screen an athlete took the torch and was moving like he was walking on the wall. It was awesome. I have no words to describe about. If you have not seen that then you have missed something marvelous. In the history of sports no opening ceremony had the 360 degree screen and the person who gave the idea should be credited. I have to really talk about the torch. Beautiful design and the combo of red and white is par excellent.It was designed in such a way that the torch arise from an unrolled screen. What a design????? Chinese have proved their upper hand even in the sector of art and sports. I m eagerly waiting for the games to be started.

In the picture see how the torch has been designed like it is from a rolled out screen. The spotlight shows the torch bearer a former athlete. To the left side of the big torch you can see the starting point of the Olympic torch (Greece) and towards to right you can see the ending point (host nation) China, Beijing. The trail of fire shows how the torch has been lit. Other nations have to learn how to begin with a opening ceremony because it was prepared 7 years ago and was progressively enhanced. This shows the efforts put by the Chinese people to welcome other nations. The other thing is that the sign boards in an around China has been provided in English to assist the tourist. Earlier it was only in Chinese. Believe me, China started tutoring some of its volunteers and other people in English to avoid communication barrier. This shows the interests of the government as well as native people. Other nations have to learn many things from China.

OLYMPICS 2008

Today I scheduled my things in such a way that I could watch the opening ceremony of this year's Olympics. The ceremony started with awesome fireworks. Though I was not able to watch the fireworks I came to know the details from my father. I was anxiously waiting for the parade for two reasons..1) Roger Federer is carrying the flag for his country and it is also his birthday..2) Obviously I m an Indian and wanted to watch the players who represented my country. When ever a country is announced i just looked how many people represented the country. I was very much shocked to see that people who represented our country was countable.I was very much shocked to see that there were more representatives from small countries like Lithuania, Egypt and many other small countries.

Having population more than billion it is possible to create a healthy atmosphere to provide players to compete at international level. I don't know the reasons behind the government's hesitation to promote players for such an international event. Why is that cricket is considered as life than any other games. Olympics is an international game event where almost every game is hosted. Where as the importance faded in India. Every year people turn on their TV or a newspaper and hope that at least one gold medal would come to India. Consider the people from small countries like Ethiopia and other small nations. There won't be an athletic event without an Ethiopian player(they will win at least a bronze medal). I hope Indian government will take step to go ahead in Olympics.

The other shock of the day is that all countries had their prime minister or president present at the stadium in Beijing to support their country. What happened to our prime minister? Is Sonia Gandhi the prime minister of India? Even US President was there to support his country. I don't think so our prime minister would have had a better job. He could have at least spent two hours for our players. What the bloody hell was Sonia doing in Beijing. I think she would have planned to trip China.

India has won 8 golds in hockey, 1 silver and 1 bronze in the same event. But this year it is pathetic that it didn't even clear the selection level itself. The standard for our national game is at questioning level. If India need to host the Olympics at any year in near future it is necessary to increase the standard of all the game and we have switch the importance to all the games instead sticking to one game which just gets you few pride. I guess in near future we get some quality sports and more than that recognition.
THE PRIDE IN ANY PLAYER IS SEEN WHEN THE FLAG IS CARRIED BY THEM IN OLYMPICS.

HAPPY DAYS!!!

I wanted to watch this movie for a long time and finally today I got the opportunity to watch this movie. Wow!!! When I started watching this movie I thought it was another college stories but believe me it is beyond that. It clearly shows all the things that happen in a college. The crush that u have for some one in your class or in your dept..your favorite professors.. many things. The best part is "when do you realize that what you think as friendship is no longer friendship and has gone a level ahead". I m very happy that I watched this movie in my life time. The possessiveness that you have for your friend, the caring, the love and many things are very well portrayed here. I liked one character who respects friendship and who is also love in with his senior and eventually decide to follow her to US for higher studies. The movie made a magical feeling in my heart. It made me thing about my college how I enjoyed them. I realized that the friendship found in college are to be treasured. More than that it also helped me to analyze certain things in my life like how stupid I have behaved in my life and many more things.

I m very happy to have watched this movie but I thing I watched at the wrong time. I realize now how I treasured my friends but eventually everyone has to go ahead in their life(that includes myself too). This movie brought tears when I started thinking about my life. i guess if I had watched this movie a bit earlier I would have made some corrections and also would have realized certain things.

I recommend this movie for any age groups. I recommend this for people who really want to find their youthfulness back. It brings back all your memories and more than that you will surely try or take a step to find your pals with whom you have not made contacts for a long time. COLLEGE LIFE IS ECSTASY DON'T MISS THE THRILLS,FRIENDSHIP,LOVE AND CARE.

WIERD AND STRANGE

Yesterday I went out with my dad for some transaction. Since it was about cloudy I wore my jerkin to protect myself and more than that I didn't want to spoil my white shirt. But guess wat???Everybody was staring at me when I stopped in a signal.I was the only person wearing a jerkin. Even when I was in them move I got stares from them. I was wondering if there is any mistake in wearing the jerkin as a part of precaution. But then after few kilometers I spotted another guy wearing the jerkin. At heart I felt "Join the club". Now he too will get the stare. Is there anything wrong? why do people give a stare that says "Hey some part of your dress is torn" or "You are wearing the dress the other way" or "the wrong combo". I guess these are funny things and without these things I don't think so that there will be any fun in life.

PROUD TO BE A WOMAN!!!!

Yesterday when I was reading the newspaper I came upon this article about men being more generous in the presence of pretty women. The study shows that women are generously donated an average of around 40% regardless of the situation are about the persons who are next to them, whereas the scientist found that men donated between 50% and 100% of their earnings when a women was in the room and were more generous when they were being watched by a woman they thought was attractive.When they are with a man or unaccompanied they donated less than 40%. Isn't it very weird to see that men have different attitude to attract the women... But on the other hand I m very proud to be woman. Woman out there "BE PROUD", on the other hand men,"CHECK YOUR STRATEGIES ONCE IN A WHILE".I say this for men because "Buying presents to impress women has been a key part of mating rituals in human for sometime, though it may be generosity the other sex may take it in a violent way and ignore you".
